Plus, the 6.8L is teamed up with the powerfully built TorqShift®-G 10-speed automatic transmission. The available port fuel-injected 7.3L is the most powerful gas engine in its class. Engineered for commercial-grade durability and performance, it offers 430 hp and 485 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine optimizes low-end torque, and the variable cam timing helps to optimize high-output power. The 7.3L also features a cast-iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings, plus a forged-steel crankshaft for added durability. The available 6.7L 4V OHV Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine has a 36,000-psi fuel-injection system. It also features forged-steel pistons, which make 475 hp at 2,600 rpm and available 1,050 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 rpm. Finally, the engine features a water-jacketed turbocharger that improves throttle response and enhances overall performance and reliability under heavy load conditions. There’s no mistaking the sound of turbo performance. And it comes at the drop of the pedal from the available 6.7L High Output Power Stroke V8 Turbo Diesel B20 engine. This powerful engine is also twin-turbocharged and water-cooled for managing high temperatures. The 2025 Super Duty pickup has best-in-class maximum available 500 hp and 1,200 lb.-ft. of torque. The TorqShift-G 10-speed automatic transmission is offered on all gas engines and has enhanced low and midrange, with three overdrive gears for optimum towing power and performance. You also get to choose from four selectable modes — Normal, Slippery, Tow/Haul, and Eco. The available Tremor® Off-Road Package has an additional Rock Crawl mode. The Heavy Duty TorqShift 10-speed automatic transmission is offered on all diesel engines. This transmission offers the same optimum towing power and performance as TorqShift-G but is built to withstand the higher torque of the Power Stroke Turbo Diesel engine. You get to choose from four selectable modes — Normal, Slippery, Tow/Haul, and Eco. The available Tremor Off-Road Package has an additional Rock Crawl mode. The fully boxed frame is reinforced with up to 10 crossmembers, which allows it to withstand extreme weight. The frame is designed to minimize flexing and twisting while maximizing strength and torsional rigidity for long-term durability. It serves as the foundation for the Super Duty truck’s impressive towing and hauling capability.
